The Longest Wait Ever....

It was a Sunday evening,
I was anxious to meet him,
"We'll chat, sing, dance..."
The air smelt of romance;
We'd meet after 2 long years,
There was excitement & hidden fears..
"Does he still look the same?"
"Will he call me by the name(he'd given)?"
He was to propose to me that day,
And Oh!! He was already on the way!
"We'll have two kids and a small home.."
I was lost,din't hear the ringing phone;
"I'll be the best wife,THE BEST.."
The phone beeped,there was a text;
Opening the text I thought,"On my wedding day,I'll wear red"
TEXT:Tony met with an accident,sorry..he's dead

Good times are gone,and gone for good
Oh!I really wish i could
Be a part of Time-the master,
Realize,accept and forget things faster,
The pains of joy,the pleasure of sorrow,
Oh!I really wish i could borrow,
The graceful silence,the relieving solitude;
I promise i would return them with gratitude.
Just give me a while to realize who I am,
